Intellectual property

dasma.dk owns the site design, code, brand, and related materials unless stated otherwise. You may not copy or reuse our materials except as permitted by law or explicit permission.

Your content and our operational license

You generally retain ownership of the content you create and upload.

By using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, technically adapt, process, display, and distribute your content to the extent necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Uploads, rights, and permissions

When you upload images or other material, you represent and warrant that:

• you own the rights to the material or have valid permission to upload and share it through the service,
• you have a lawful basis and any required permissions for identifiable people shown in the image where required,
• the material does not infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, portrait/publicity rights, confidentiality, reputation, or applicable law,
• you can document your rights or permissions if we reasonably ask for it.

Public sharing and third-party misuse

If you make a hunt public or share it broadly, content and images may be viewed by others and in some cases indexed by search engines, reshared, screenshotted, or copied.

Such reuse without the rights holder’s permission is not allowed, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we cannot guarantee that third parties will follow the rules. Report misuse promptly and we may assess removal, restriction, or other relevant action.

Reporting, moderation, and takedown

Anyone may report content alleged to be illegal or infringing, including copyright infringement, privacy violations, and image misuse.

We may investigate content, request additional information, temporarily hide or remove content, disable access, preserve relevant information, and warn or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, users, or third-party rights.

If we take action against your content or account, you may contact us to contest the decision. Clear or repeated infringements may lead to permanent restriction or termination.

Treasure Hunt safety and responsibility

You are responsible for safe planning, placement, sharing, and participation in your treasure hunts.

• Get permission before placing QR codes or directing participants to a location
• No trespassing; respect private property, children, private homes, and local rules
• Follow applicable laws, venue rules, traffic conditions, and common sense
• Participants act at their own risk; dasma.dk is not the organizer of user-created hunts and is not responsible for user behavior

No warranty (as-is)

The service is provided “as is” without guarantees of availability, uninterrupted operation, specific outcomes, or perfect accuracy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, dasma.dk is not liable for indirect damages, business interruption, loss of data, loss of profits, or third parties’ unauthorized copying, downloading, sharing, or other misuse of user content. If we obtain specific knowledge of illegal content or misuse, we will assess it and act within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.

Your responsibility and indemnity

You are responsible for your content, your sharing, and your use of the service. You agree to indemnify and hold dasma.dk harmless from claims, losses, costs, fines, and reasonable adviser fees arising out of your content, your treasure hunts, or your breach of these terms or third-party rights.

Prohibited misuse

The following is not allowed:

• Copying, scraping, or bulk extraction without permission
• Uploading, sharing, or redistributing content in a way that violates rights or applicable rules
• Abuse, automated attacks, circumvention of access restrictions, or other behavior that harms the service
• Repeated manifestly unfounded notices, complaints, or other attempts to misuse our moderation and reporting tools

If misuse occurs, we may warn, restrict, suspend, or block access, process reports with lower priority, and take necessary steps to protect the platform.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes may be communicated in the service, and continued use may require acceptance of the current version.

Anonymized chatbot failure logging

If you enable the setting in chat, failed questions may be stored in anonymized form locally in your browser to support KB improvements.

You can turn this off at any time in chat settings. No identifiers are collected.
